Jordan was called to the bar in 2018 after articling with a solo practitioner who operated a very busy civil litigation practice. Prior to articling, Jordan received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Western Michigan University in 2015 and completed his National Committee on Accreditation examinations in 2016. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Sociology and Social Anthropology from Dalhousie University.
After completing his articles and before joining Walker Law, Jordan maintained his own solo practice while also assisting on a number of files carried by a mentor of his. During this time, Jordan appeared regularly in the Superior Court of Justice, Ontario Court of Justice, Small Claims Court and drafted materials for use in the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Supreme Court of Canada. Jordan’s practice focuses on employment law.
Jordan joined Walker Law as an Associate in 2019. He was promoted to the position of Senior Associate in 2022. In addition to his work for Walker Law, Jordan acts as a Mentor/Practitioner for a group of law students participating in a Civil Litigation Practicum, which is a required course at Ryerson University’s Lincoln Alexander School of Law.
Jordan’s interests outside of the law include literature, music, sports, and spending time with his spouse and young children. Jordan acted as an Assistant Coach for youth hockey teams in Toronto, beginning in 2018, and has been a minor hockey Head Coach since 2020. He also continues to play recreational league hockey in his spare time.
