Alana received her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Queen’s University in 2018, where she earned the WeirFoulds LLP Award in Remedies. Outside of the classroom, Alana volunteered as a Student Case Worker at Queen’s Legal Aid assisting low-income Kingston residents in a variety of matters including minor criminal offences, employment matters and Social Benefits Tribunal hearings.
Alana was called to the Ontario Bar in 2019, after articling at a mid-size full-service firm in Toronto. Before joining Walker Law, Alana was an associate at a boutique commercial litigation firm. She has experience working with clients on complex commercial litigation matters, franchise, trademark, shareholder and partnership disputes.
Prior to law school, Alana earned her Bachelor of Science Honours from Queen’s University, with a major in Psychology.
In her spare time, Alana enjoys travelling, hiking, musical theatre and baking.
Alana is a member-at-large of the Ontario Bar Association’s Franchise Law Section.
